Fall 2019 TBR

tentative #Burtontober tbr

Hi,

I am still trying my best to get back to all things reading and blogging amidst these busy times at work, the new baseball fandom, and this new found Netflix watching hobby. But then again, I realized that I don't really want to leave this blog because it has my reading thoughts which I like looking back to.

I have here my choices for the Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon as well as, of course, some of the books I hope to get into before the year ends (OMG! IT'S -BER MONTHS WHICH MEANS THE YEAR IS ABOUT TO EEEEEND!!!). I have here thrillers as well because why not? October & November are like thriller months. So why not join the fun, yeah? Also, I'm looking at my shelf right now while I'm doing this. Gives me a better feel of what I may want to read in the next few months.

As always, not all books will be read but I'll use this as a guide when I have NO IDEA what to pick up next (except for the #readathon books). Tell me on the comments below what I should prioritize and maybe what you like or not like about them real quick :)

2019 Catastrophe Read-A-Thon TBR

Hi,

I was going to do #contemporaryathon but then this challenge feels better because it's open to a larger genre of books. AND it's a two-week read-a-thon which gives me more time to read. There are 7 books in this TBR and I'm sure I won't be able to get through all of these. I'm hoping to get around 3 to 4 books though. Crossing my fingers that'll actually happen.

things about #catreadathon
- reading challenge runs from February 14th to February 28th

2018 Ebookathon TBR

Hi,

A few days ago, I was blog hopping and came across this read-a-thon in Victoria @ Latte Nights Reviews's blog and decided to join in the fun. Mainly because I've been neglecting my ebooks. I haven't even finish anything since P.S. From Paris which I read in March. So hopefully this read-a-thon will fix that -- I'm trying to do something about that already by continuing my last ebook read but I'm really hoping this read-a-thon will help me get my ebook reading pace back.

things about #Ebookathon
- reading challenge runs from May 27th to June 2nd
- hosted by Victoria @ Latte Nights Reviews and Brooke @ Brookesbooknook.
- you can also follow their ebookathon twitter & instagram accounts!

  1. Oldest book on your ereader
  2. Ebook you got for free
  3. Ebook you forgot about

TimeHopAthon 2018!

Hello,

I'm looking through read-a-thons to participate in because I really, really just want to and found #TimeHopAThon over at BookTube. This one has really easy challenges and I hope I can win this one 😁

Also, if you guys know any read-a-thons, feel free to tell me so I can check them out. I'd love to join book challenges so I can push myself to read more this year. Of course, not much pressure on that but I'd love to get into some of the books that's been sitting on my shelf for so long (also more reason to make fancy tbr posts like this for a chance to talk about/feature books I don't always talk about, hahaha).

things about #TimeHopAThon
- reading challenge runs from February 19th to February 25th
- hosted by Fred Weasley Died Laughing, Cherrie Walker, The Bookish Babbler, Paper Faerie, and Tiny Book Dragon
- the reading challenges are
  1. Past: read a classic or historical fiction
  2. Present: read a book released in 2017/2018
  3. Future: read a book set in the future (i.e. scifi, dystopian, etc.)

[READING UPDATES] Dewey's Read-a-thon

Read-a-thon picks!!
Hello,

I totally forgot to write a post for this so I'm doing this really quick (links will be added later)!

I joined Dewey's Read-a-thon which is a 24-hour read-a-thon where everyone starts and ends reading at the same time at April 29th 8AM EST to April 30th 8AM EST. Each hour, I'll do my best to post an update on what's going on with my reading or what. Updates will be quite rare for sure since I'm doing it April 29th, 8PM PHT to April 30th, 8PM PHT. It's a Saturday to Sunday kind of thing for me. So, I'll stay as late as I can tonight, go to church tomorrow, then read on the car to wherever else we're going. It's going to be difficult for me. But I'll do my best. My twitter will be updates regularly so I hope you guys check that!

Photo at the top is my read-a-thon picks. I won't be reading all of those (cuz DUH impossible for me!) because they're mostly 200-300 pages reads (those are the shortest books I can find in my shelf at the moment. I'm not a very short reader, I know. I plan to read 2-3 books I'll take my pick as I go. I chose this much because I'm such a mood reader.

Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge!

March TBR
Hello,

I randomly came across this month-long reading challenge that involves dealing with our unmanageable to-be-read pile. And I'm like: OHWOW, PERFECT! I was going to read a couple of April eARCs but when I saw this I knew that this is the time I clear some of the books from my tbr. So sorry, April review books.

- hosted by kimbacaffeinate @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
- ALL books/audios must be published before March 1, 2017.

2017 Bookentine TBR

#bookentine TBR
Hello,

I mentioned in my January Roundup post that I'll be participating in the 2017 #bookentine read-a-thon which is hosted by Ely & Michelle @ Tea and Titles. You can find the announcement post here so you can check what the read-a-thon is all about. And you can find the sign-up post here so we can all see each other's TBR and maybe follow each other :D

If you've been following me since my the Blacksheep Project days, you'd probably know that contemporary isn't my strongest genre (I'm a mostly dystopian, thriller, and historical reader). SO, discovering this read-a-thon felt like a great opportunity for me to stick my nose on the contemporary novels in my shelf.

things about #bookentine
- it's a YA contemporary read-a-thon!
- read-a-thon starts on February 13th and ends on February 20th
- hosted by Ely & Michelle @ Tea and Titles, as I mentioned earlier.
- it has three challenges:
  1. Read a book with red and/or pink on the cover
  2. Read a book by an author you haven't read before
  3. Read a book featuring mental illness or disability
