I cannot believe I was scared to read this because I blindly love the Brontë siblings (this also convinced me to really read their books soon!! Because I've only ever read Emily's works).

[WEEKEND READS] where the internet is being weird

Hi,

It's been a wild month because after the first week of September, we kind of lost internet connection so I never used my laptop. I didn't have any blog posts scheduled after my last one which was my weekly wrap-up. So there's that! lol.

But yeah, we just had out internet fixed and I posted my review for Sorry I Missed You and my Books from the Backlog for the week 😊 I'll have a couple more reviews soon and I'll have my October tbr and September wrap-up this coming week. Hope things go well.

During my off time, I finished a few anime series. If you're into that, I finished: Chihayafuru S3 (sooooo good! loved it!! If you're into slice of life, romance, drama stuff, definitely watch this!), Tanaka-kun is Always Listless (LOVED THIS! fun and light! recommended!), Servant x Service (rewatched! loved it still!! just normal rom-com stuff), and Gleipnir (don't watch. ugly. not worth the time. NSFW).

I feel like I'm really getting back into women's fiction books and I'm so happy about that. I remember that there was a time where I'd just grab any Lake Union Publishing books that I can because why not they sound good. BUT yeah, when I read the synopsis, I thought it sounds light and fun and takes on a topic I'll enjoy.

[WEEKEND READS] where I'm probably in a slump but I don't care

This week felt like it just flew by. I'm scared of days going by fast. I want to do a lot of things and I feel that I'm wasting days. I don't know.

I didn't read much this week. Just wasn't in the mood for it. I finally finished the anime Sing "Yesterday" for Me. I watched it with my little sister. THAT ENDING is so underwhelming. Although I'm probably saying this because I have an ending in my minds that I think really fits for its mood in general and THAT didn't happen. ohwell. I want to marathon more anime I set aside for so long. 

After reading The Bromance Book Club and absolutely falling in love with it, I think I'm headed for a s slump? idk. but I just have a weird feeling about it. I'm not getting absorbed with what I'm reading right now and I'm also more into drawing than reading right now. So there's that. But we'll see. I'll try to get to it this week.

AUGUST WRAPUP (aka the month of my birthday)

August was an okay month. It was my birthday month and I generally didn't do anything special because pandemic 😩 I had a pretty good reading month though. I got through 6 books this month, 2 of those of get-it-over-with books and the other 4 of those I have 3.5 and higher which is a really good sign.

On other things, I feel that I haven't been in the mood to watch anything which kind of disappoints me. I went back to watching Teasing Master Takagi-san  season 2 on Netflix but stopped at episode 11 just because life. idk. I just didn't feel like watching. I'd occasionally rewatch Big Bang Theory but other than that, I just saved a bunch of stuff on Netflix.

Aside from that a few more things: (1) hate that somehow the Yankees aren't doing that well the last 3 or 4 series (not in first place yo!); (2) I've somehow increased my posts per week and I've also tried blog hopping more often than before; (3) I am finally getting back to eGalleys on my Kindle (I'll try to finish maybe 2 or 3 this month along side the physical books I'm reading this month; (4) back to drawing (I mentioned this last weekend reads, I believe, and while I'm being too slow, I've done things differently this time around and probably an improvement on my work before, I think).
