FEBRUARY WRAP UP (aka the-back-to-blogging-month)

Hello,

So mid-Fenruary, I finally posted my quick come back post. This month, I also told you that I'll resigning from my current work. Life's been... I don't know. Scary and Good. I think. I'm still majorly scared for things to come though. I'll be submitting my resignation letter tomorrow. Then I'll have to go to work for 30 more days then I'm free. But not entirely free, if you know what I mean. lol.

I'll be jobless after than but I'm looking through possible work places now 😊 No more free and 20% discounted books for me though. But that's completely fine. The biggest let down is that I most likely won't be surrounded by books on my next work which saddens me but things will work out for sure. Wish me luck, please!

books read

Nichijou, vol. 4 | Keiichi Arawi
This volume was funny af. It also features the iconic Daiku Shop Scene which I used to convinced my friend to read this manga. Spoiler Alert: I was successful. I'll probably buy this series in the future.
Pride  & Prejudice | Jane Austen
This is my first classic of the year and it was great! I immediately added it on my fave shelf. Lizzy is now one of my fave girls and Mr. Darcy is obviously on my book boyfriend list and Lizzy and Darcy are on my fave OTP list!!! 😆😆
Every Day | David Levithan
Every Day ended up being an 'okay' read for me. I'm now ready to watch the movie (whenever we'll be able to do that)!! 😁
This was another insta-fave for me. Read my quick thoughts here. I'll probably read Adichie's novels at some point.

  2. Wow! Good luck with the job search. It's always a little scary switching jobs, but I hope you find something amazing. I spy Where'd You Go Bernadette and Words in Deep Blue on your TBR. Bernadette was fun. I liked it a lot, and I LOVED Words in Deep Blue. It made my favorites shelf last year. I hope you enjoy all your books.

    1. Thank you, Sam! True, I'm really scared but also a bit excited for things to come! When I found out that Words in Deep Blue involves books, I got psyched and grabbed it. That's great to know that both books made your faves! :D

  4. Good luck with your work situation. My sister was in that same situation last summer and she was nervous about starting over, but now she loves her new job so much more than the old one and she's made a lot of great friends. Change is always scary, but sometimes it can lead you to something that makes you much happier!
I've always wanted to read an Agatha Christie novel, so I vote for that to be the next book.

Adichie's novels are great :) you definitely should! And your TBR looks awesome! Dear Martin should be a great one.

    1. Thanks, Evelina!
I'll definitely grab one of Adichie's novel one of these days. Thanks for that! I've been eyeing Dear Martin especially because it's short. I've read mix thoughts for that one but maybe I'll get to it this month :)

  7. Best of luck with your job hunt :-) Exciting times!

I read all six Jane Austen's for the first time last year. I liked Pride & Prejudice but Northanger Abbey was my favourite

  9. I hope the job search is going well for you. Starting over is scary to me. I enjoyed WDMR and will read Sandhya's next book too. Dear Martin was a top 2017 read for me--I got it for Christmas along with THUG which I also enjoyed. American Street, in my opinion, was even better than THUG.
