'Hello there.'
I looked at the pale, freckled hand on the back of the empty bar seat next to me in the business class lounge of Heathrow airport, then up into the stranger's face.
'Do I know you?'
Delayed in London, Ted Severson meets a woman at the airport bar. Over cocktails they tell each other rather more than they should, and a dark plan is hatched - but are either of them being serious, could they actually go through with it and, if they did, what would be their chances of getting away with it?
Back in Boston, Ted's wife Miranda is busy site managing the construction of their dream home, a beautiful house out on the Maine coastline. But what secrets is she carrying and to what lengths might she go to protect the vision she has of her deserved future?
A sublimely plotted novel of trust and betrayal, The Kind Worth Killing will keep you gripped and guessing late into the night.
absolutely UNPUTDOWNABLE!

This has been on my TBR for the longest time!! Because I've seen Peter Swanson's name so much and one of his recent books, Eight Perfect Murders, kind of intrigued me. So here we are..

The Kind Worth Killing follows Lily and Ted who met at the airport. Ted tells Lily about his cheating wife and eventually telling her that he'd like to kill her. Lily, on the other hand, tells Ted that some people do deserve to be killed. Thus, the two of them plot the demise of Ted's wife and the rest is just a wild, suspenseful ride.

As a mystery-thriller, clearly I can't divulge much since I don't want to take away any part of the experience of reading this.

The BEST thing about this book is how absolutely UNPUTDOWNABLE this is. It's one of those books that's full on would keep you turning the page because you HAVE to know what happens next. It made me feel like Swanson just keeps pulling one thing after another that at some point, you just have to accept that he'll never ran out of exciting things to happen. At every turn, I keep on making up theories as to how it will end or how things will proceed. It's a book that NEVER stops throwing out the most exciting things!

The alternating points of view really gives the story a more suspenseful vibes to it. Each characters and their respective narrations are done masterfully that everything that happens just feels so perfectly natural. You'll get a perspective of what they know and how they'll react with respect to who they are and what they think others would do. It's all so exciting to read!

OVERALL, The Kind Worth Killing is an absolutely recommended read if you're into suspenseful reads. The multiple points of view is done well that it shapes the story into such an exciting ride from start to end!

let's connect!
