[WEEKEND READS] where I FINALLY finished The Librarian of Auschwitz!

Hi,

I am fine. Everyday feels the same. Nothing new. I do house things. I read. I watch baseball. I finally opened Netflix again (I actually didn't check or watch Netflix for a while) but I ended up doing a rewatch of Big Bang Theory (I'll probably rewatch it every chance I can but whatever. lol). I haven't played much Sims which sucks (was I that busy?).

On reading, it's been like 2 or 3 weeks since I started The Librarian of Auschwitz and I am so freaking glad that I am finally done with it! It's not that I didn't like it but more like it took me a while. A while too long. lol. But yeah, it's quite a heavy book in terms of the things it tackled and generally that's the reason why it took me a while but it's really good!! Recommended if you like to know more or want to read more on what went on inside the Auschwitz camp.

Now I mentioned trying to be consistent with my posts (and all things in my life in general I guess) and I just reworked my blog schedule and I hope I can actually accomplish them. Really want to push myself to follow a schedule for everything.

Now for some fun things 👇👇👇

Here are some of my Sims 4 screenshots. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take some during my outdoor vacation. I had so much fun on that just because I got a few plants and insects to use for my herbalism skill. lol. This is my 2nd generation Sim now. The male character is the son of the Sims I made when I first started. His wife is really pretty (just look at that hair 😍). Had her eating pancakes with their son while watching some TV in the morning.

I also made my Sim, like me, a huge reader. Made him a bestselling author 😉

Also, on more fun things going on, my Sim went to GeekCon and actually sat down and had a good chat with a Darth Vader cosplayer. lol

current reads

Afterlife (Evernight #4) | Claudia Gray
FINALLY! This is the final book in the Evernight series (not counting the spin-off which they numbered as the 5th book). And obviously I am not loving this but I am really speeding through this. It feels that it's trying to accomplish a lot of things but I also have to admit that it's kind of better than the first 2 books, at least. Also, another good thing right here is how much I have no idea where this is going or how it will possibly end. Hope it doesn't disappoint me (not that I have expectations tbh but who knows).

ON THE BLOG
Review: The Name of Red by Beena Khan (3.5-stars for me. It's a good romance. plus there's a giveaway)

  1. Local baseball took a hit this week with two Mets getting the virus and the cancellation of the subway series, but glad you are enjoying the season. You have the Sims, I have Animal Crossing, and both of us have fun worlds to escape to. I love that your Sim is a reader and that you got to go to a con. Virtual trips seem to be the only ones we will be taking these days.

    1. ahh yes. I was actually looking forward to the subway series because I enjoy watching the Yankees. Really gonna take this chance to make a reader/author character just for the fun of it. Virtual world isn't as fun but we gonna make do with it because of the current state of the world :(
