[24HR READATHON] April 2021 Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon Day!!

Hi,

It's that time of the year!

Last year, #readathon was good for me. I participated and live-tweeted last year's October readathon and personally, I think it was a success for me. I juggled among 4 books and finished 2 of them. I got pulled out early because of work but I got back for the missed hours and read. That may be cheating but I don't care. I counted them and I had fun.

I'm participating again this April and I'm hoping for great things. I'm somewhat running out of short books but I do have a couple of 100+ pages on my Kindle so we'll see about that. I'll just throw everything out here THEN let's see right after which of those I end up reading. I'm also picking up one of the books on last year's TBR which is L Change the World which I think is 100+ pages (or maybe 200? idk. but it's short).

10 Books I want to Read in 2021!

Hi,

This is SUCH a late post but we're still rolling with it!

I picked these books before 2020 ends. These are the books I want to get through this year and some of these I've been too scared to read, others I really, REALLY just want to get through! I won't be adding these to my monthly TBRs just because they're already here 😅

My Personal Monthly TBR Challenge!

oh hecc, i'm running out of stock photos. i don't even know if i've used this before. time to take new ones!!

Hi,

Mid-2020, I decided to share a month-long TBR of books I borrowed from my best friend. I just wanted to get done with some books so I can return them. The result of that: I read 5 of 9 books from that stack. So I say that went well for me.

AND that's what I thought about talking about this time around. I've been making monthly TBRs or quarterly TBRs since I started this blog. So what's the difference of this and that?

2021 Reading Goals

Hi,

My 2020 goals turned out well generally because it's mostly centered on my purchasing habits. I still hope to continue it this year though but I won't be adding those goals to this year's list because why even. I won't even be going out much this year, I think.

For my 2021 goals though, they are fairly general and somehow I want to just do better in reading than what I did last year. They're fairly easy and I think that I can accomplish all of them (except maybe the Popsugar one because we'll see how much I can go out and look for books for specific prompts there).

I'm Joining Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon!!!

Hi,

I am once again trying the 24-hour readathon. lmao.

I did an impromptu 24-hour readathon before and I enjoyed it. I got through a good amount of books and I was also impressed at myself for doing it. This time around, I'm joining the Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon (as long as things go according to plan because I heard my older sister will drop by probably on Sunday which will be most of the duration of the readathon for me) and I will try to take videos and do a "reading vlog" however that's supposed to go.

Reading Challenge: 100 Most Popular Mysteries and Thrillers on Goodreads

Hi,

I am challenging myself.

I couple of months back, Goodreads had a Mysteries and Thrillers week and I saw this list called The 100 Most Popular Mysteries and Thrillers on Goodreads and I want to challenge myself to read every book in this list.

I have been meaning to have this post up over a month ago but my weird mood just didn't get me to do it. But my sudden surge productivity had me scheduling all these posts up (which is soooo good).

2020 Reading Goals

Hi,

As expected, I miserably failed my 2019 goals. 2019 was a wild year-long reading and blogging slump in general for me. I ended my decade fairly disappointing. I have no idea how to change my outlook or motivation for 2020 but let's still try.

Also, making lists is just so much fun so let's do this again. While I'm at it, I'm also taking this time to look back at my 2019 goals.

2019 Reading Goals

Hi,

In 2018, I failed all of my personal reading challenges. So this time around, I decided to lessen my challenge, retain some of them, and pick out 2 new challenges based on the books I usually read and the books I read in 2018.

I will be doing a monthly check-in for this just so I KNOW I'm actually doing them unlike before. In 2018 I set goals and ended up forgetting them mid-way or so. But this time, I'll do my best to actively blog and post updates so that I can have my goals accounted for especially my reading challenges.

I also added a book buying challenge. Instead of doing a monthly book buying ban, this one seems better. It's a testing for this year but I hope it works out well :)

[READING CHALLENGE] Beat the Backlist 2019

Hi,

I've been seeing this challenge around and I thought that it really won't hurt to join in the fun. I've been hoping to get through books that have been sitting on my shelf for YEARS now and this is, obviously, the perfect challenge for me.

For my tentative to-read-list, I decided to go with 10 physical books and 10 eARCs I have. The physical books are divided by adult and YA fiction. And the eARCs are divided by those I received in 2018 and those I received 2017 and earlier.

Beat the Backlist Reading Challenge is hosted by NovelKnight. I will try and participate on other challenges such as the weekly photo challenge. However, I will surly join the Hogwarts Mini Challenge under team Hufflepuff :)

My 2018 Reading Goals

Hello,

I mentioned in another post (which I cannot remember anymore, lol) that I'll be sharing with you guys my 2018 Reading Goals. I made this goals at the end of December hoping that I'll have a fantastic reading year ahead. I also hope to challenge myself by doing this personal list and not joining into some other reading challenges (but I'll probably join some next year).

This list is a mixture of general challenges and very specific ones. I have my list up along with some books I hope to read for the challenges. I'll also work on a reading challenge page soon so I can keep track of the books I've read, aside from writing them up on my bullet journal.

SO, here goes my challenges! Wish me the best of luck! 😊

Read 51 Books (Goodreads Reading Challenge)
This one is obviously already taken care of. Check out the books I've read so far!
wth is with 51 you ask? That's just me being random and adding that extra 1 😆
